Call for Nominees: WGF Ambassadors

Wisconsin's Green Fire, November 22, 2024

A message from WGF Board Vice President Jim Perry

The Wisconsin’s Green Fire (WGF) Board of Directors seeks nominations for a new class of WGF Ambassadors.

Our WGF Ambassadors are people whose names are broadly recognized and who have contributed significantly to the cause of natural resources conservation. They are people who want to encourage the continued work of WGF but may not have the time to do it as a member of a Work Group or Board Member.

Please fill out the nomination form here.

These nominees will be considered as additions to the list of illustrious individuals who currently hold this title:

  • Kathleen Falk
  • Sen. Russ Feingold
  • Dr. Patty Loew
  • Dr. Patricia McConnell
  • Tia Nelson
  • Dr. Stanley Temple

The objectives of the WGF Ambassadorial Program are to:

  • Recognize living Wisconsinites who have been at the top of their profession, whose names are recognizable by the general public and who support the mission of WGF;
  • Create additional visibility for WGF;
  • Elevate the perceived stature of WGF among the general public;
  • Increase support of WGF.

This year we would like to hear about people you believe would be good ambassadors.

Thank you for helping to grow our community of Voices for Conservation! Contact us with questions.
