The Aspiring Conservation Professionals (ACP) Work Group is the newest of Wisconsin’s Green Fire’s work groups with a slightly different purpose than WGF’s other work groups. Instead of being centered around an issue or topic, this work group is centered around a specific audience – emerging conservation professionals.

Just as wildlife management, climate change action, and environmental justice are vital to the sustainable future of our state, so too is ensuring that there will be a connected, diverse, and passionate next generation of professionals to carry the torch!

The ACP Work Group plays a large part in sharing WGF’s work across Wisconsin, including creating our own email newsletter “Conservation Connections” and running WGF’s social media platforms.

Additionally, WGF offers a free student membership! If you are interested in receiving WGF newsletters, staying up-to-date on upcoming events, and joining a group of like-minded conservation professionals, click here to sign up today.
