Erik Olson
Erik R Olson is an Associate Professor of Natural Resources at Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin. While Erik’s core area of expertise is in invasive species, human-wildlife conflict, and large carnivore conservation, he considers himself to be an interdisciplinary ecologist. Erik embraces both applied and theoretical research and has studied species from wolves to dragonflies, from tree frogs to jaguars. Erik grew up in Wisconsin and is a life-long hunter, angler, and general outdoors enthusiast.
