Jeff Myers

Jeff joined the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) in 1989 as the environmental toxicologist for the Air Program and remained in this position until his retirement in 2022.  He worked on air toxics rules and served as the liaison with the State Department of Health. Jeff worked on many state and national workgroups and professional organizations, like the National Association of Clean Air Agencies. He also worked on rules for Mercury, Acid Rain & Criteria Pollutants and was coordinator of the Air Program’s refrigerant recovery program. Before joining WDNR, Jeff worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in chemical health and safety and at the State Lab of Hygiene’s Toxicology section. Jeff received his BS in Chemistry from UW-Parkside and his MS in Environmental and Administrative Sciences, with an emphasis on toxicology and risk assessment, from UW-Green Bay.
