Keith McCaffery

Keith began as a research biologist with the Forest Wildlife Research Group of the Wisconsin Conservation Department (later DNR) in 1963 and conducted deer and ruffed grouse habitat projects.  Deer survey evaluations and harvest management soon became his focus. After serving as Research Group Leader and State Deer Biologist he retired in 2000 but continued as a full-time volunteer to DNR through 2020.
