Linda Parker

Linda Parker recently retired from her position as Forest Ecologist at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.  Serving in this position since 1991, Linda provided leadership and expertise on plant ecology, rare plants, non-native invasive plants, fire ecology, landscape ecology, natural areas, ecological restoration, pollinator management, and climate change.  Linda holds a B.S. in Biology and Biological Resource Management from UW-Green Bay and a M.S. from UW-Madison.  Linda was a pioneer of the Climate Change Response Framework and has co-authored numerous publications on climate change impacts and mitigation opportunities.  Linda now represents WGF on the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts (WICCI) Forestry Working Group.  She lives near Phillips, Wisconsin with her husband John Krause.
