Russ Feingold is a lawyer, politician, former United States Senator from Wisconsin from 1993 – 2011 and Wisconsin State Senator from 1983 – 1993, serving as the United States Special Envoy to the Great Lakes Region of Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 2013 – 2015. Russ is currently the president of the American Constitution Society and the Honorary Ambassador for the Campaign for Nature, a worldwide campaign encouraging policymakers to address the growing biodiversity crisis and work towards the global goal of protecting 30% of the planet by 2030. Russ holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.A. and B.A. from the University of Oxford, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
