Nick is the Career Development Coordinator for the Aspiring Conservation Professionals Work Group. He keeps emerging professionals up-to-date on job opportunities and helps them connect to senior members of Wisconsin’s Green Fire. He has also worked with senior WGF members himself on science and policy with the Fisheries Work Group. He recently received a PhD in Fisheries Science from Oregon State, and before that he was an undergraduate at University of Miami (since Midwesterners always ask–the Florida one, not Ohio!). He now works for MRAG Americas helping to assess seafood against the sustainability standards of ecolabel programs like the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
